We have been learning how to write noun phrases in English as a new way of describing things.
In our first lesson, we listened to sounds of a stormy sea and looked at paintings to help us imagine that we were there! We collected adjectives and then Mrs Crust helped us use these words to describe parts of the boat.
Later in the week, we painted a picture of a stormy sea and chose our favourite noun phrases to be captions and help to describe it.
