A level physics students visited Year 3 this week to talk all about rockets and how they work. We even got to make our own and blast them off into space ! ( on the playground!) The children had a great time learning all about the science behind how rockets work. As part of our partnership with The Ogden Trust, who promote physics teaching in schools, students from Ernesford Grange Secondary School from the Sixth Form delivered an interesting lesson and engaged well with the children. Two of the students were ex pupils of our school. The prize for the winning rockets that flew the furthest, was some real astronauts food, tasty! Watch out for the next Tim Peake or Neil Armstrong!
