We used Scratch as an introduction to becoming computer programmers this week. We discussed the features of the program such as moving your sprite(the cat) around the screen and inputting directions to get the character to move. We also looked at adding changes to the stage- the area where the sprite moves. The children worked well in pairs and really enjoyed programming. We will add to our programs over the next few weeks.
