A.s part of our Science work, Year 3 have learnt all about our skeletons and how they help our bodies to move. We researched the names of all the different bones that make up our skeleton. One of our tasks involved sticking labels on each other to guess the correct bones in our body! This was great fun!
We also did an experiment about our muscles and why they are important in helping us move. We used cardboard tubes to restrict the movement in our arm muscles, the bicep and tricep, to try to pick up and drink a water bottle. This proved very tricky, if not impossible!
