Summer Term and the return of tennis!
After winning a tournament held during their lunchtimes the tennis team went into the Year 5 Level 2 Sainsbury’s School Games tennis tournament with some confidence.
A great start to the tournament with all the team winning their matches to win 4-0 against Sacred Heart. Some very close matches against a very good St Laurences team saw us draw 2-2. The children bounced back to beat Pearl Hyde 3-1 and in their last match they finished in style beating Alderman’s Green 4-0.
Ernesford won 13 of their 16 matches to finish in 1st place on the day. An amazing achievement by the team!
