On Friday we created a wreath made up of our own handprints with Christmas wishes on them! We put them all together and made some holly and stars to create our very own Year 4 Christmas Wreath.

We had lots of fun while raising money for charity. We saw so many creative and funky hair styles – it was great to see everyone getting involved!
The children had fun in Nursery, seeing their friends and teachers with their ‘bad/crazy’ hair! We raised lots of money for Children in Need too. Thank you!
We had fun exploring the light box. We loved all the different colours it made. We used transluscent 3D shapes to build different towers and models!
Our new topic for this half term is called, ‘What is a shadow?’ We had fun hunting for shadows outside. We found lots of them! We even had a go at running away from our shadow, which was very tricky!
Whilst learning about Grace Darling, in science we explored how to make a bulb shine in order to build a lighthouse.
We learnt all about Grace Darling and retold her famous and heroic story.
