Year 4 enjoyed playing a board game in French today. They had to count and say the colours in French.
This week Year 4 have been writing to entertain when creating poems about sea creatures. They were inspired by ‘The Sea is a Hungry Dog’ by James Reeves. Year 4 enjoyed learning about the different ocean zones this afternoon. They worked in groups to predict which creatures lived in which zone. There are some real ocean experts in the year group already!
During our maths lesson, 4SE used the Base 10 equipment to help multiply numbers by 11 or 12.
Year 4 enjoyed creating the layers of the ocean through the medium of paint. As the depths of the ocean got deeper, so did the blue.
Year 4 enjoyed sorting and classifying animal poo, inspired by the book ‘The story of the little mole who knew it was none of his business’.
