We had fun making penguins this week. We drew the head and body, cut them out and stuck them together. We added googly eyes, a beak and some wings. We put our penguins on display in the classroom to create a ‘Winter Wonderland’!
We loved having our grown ups come and play for our Family Session. We painted Spring flowers, wrote Spring words, made ‘delicious treats’ out of play dough including ‘pizza’ and ‘pasty’ and played outside in our mud kitchen and with our space rockets. We really enjoyed having our grown ups come and visit!
We had fun taking part in an obstacle course for Sport Relief. We really enjoyed going under, over, around and through different obstacles. It was lots of fun!

We had a teddy bear’s picnic in Nursery. We dressed up in our party clothes and brought in a bear or our favourite cuddly toy. We enjoyed making teddy bear toast using chocolate spread, bananas and raisins. They were really yummy!
We went on a bear hunt around school. We were going to find a big one! It really was a beautiful day and we weren’t scared! We went through long wavy grass, thick oozy mud, a big dark forest, a deep cold river, a swirling whirling snow storm and a narrow gloomy cave. Inside the narrow gloomy cave we found
We were really excited to see the chicks which had hatched out at school. We were very careful when we held them and tried to keep really quiet and still, so we wouldn’t scare the chicks. They felt really fluffy when we stroked them!
