We enjoyed painting some Spring flowers, including daffodils and tulips. We looked at the different parts of the flower, including the stem, leaves and petals, to see what colour and shape they were. We worked hard! We hope you like our work!

We loved dressing up as different story characters for World Book Day. We had Spiderman, Elsa, the Gruffalo, Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Rabbit and even Marie Curie in Nursery! We enjoyed listening to different stories in our book corner and we listened to some poems too! It was lots of fun!
We went for a walk around school to try and discover any signs of Spring. We found blossom, daffodils, and buds on some of our trees. We listened very carefully on the key stage 2 playground and heard lots of birds singing. We also visited our school pond where you can often find frog spawn!

We really enjoyed listening to the story, We’re going on a bear hunt’ by Michael Rosen. We had fun practising our ball skills in PE this week. We had to throw, catch and roll a ball with a partner. We also had fun throwing bean bags into a target!
