We had fun at our Christmas party! We played lots of games including pass the parcel and musical statues. A special visitor arrived too! It was Santa and he gave us all a present. We enjoyed our party food as well! It was delicious!

We had fun making penguins! We drew 2 circles for the head and body and cut them out using scissors. We stuck them together and added wobbly eyes and a beak. We then gave them a fluffy tummy and some wings. We hope you like our work!
We carried out a science experiment in Nursery this week. We had some dirty 2p coins that we wanted to make shiny. We put one in salt and vinegar, one in lemon juice, one in tomato ketchup and one in coke. We then waited for 30 seconds. We predicted whether we thought the coins would be shiny or not. It

We have been exploring light and shadows in our dark den. We really enjoyed using our brand new ‘head and wrist’ torches. We discovered that, by pressing a button on the side, they changed colour and that if, for example, you shine the blue light and the red light on the same place, it made purple. We also had fun
Our new topic for this half term is called ‘Is it shiny?’ So today we decided to make firework pictures. We spoke about how fireworks sound and what colours they are. We dipped tubes in paint and added glitter to make our pictures all shiny and sparkly. We hope you like them!
The children really enjoyed showing and talking about their hand print homework, during circle time. We spoke about who has the biggest hand print and who has the smallest. Some of the children also shared what their grown ups do for them at home.
