We decided to make pet rocks this week. First of all we chose a stone and washed all the mud off. We then painted it and added features including wobbly eyes, feathers and pom-poms. We thought of lots of different names for our pet rocks including Spotty, Rainbow, Monster, Rocky, Jack and Rosie. Some of the ‘food’ our pet rocks
We had lots of fun chasing bubbles outside! They were really big and some of them floated up high in the sky! It was a lot of fun!
We loved using our giant teapots for playing in the water. It was lots of fun!
We loved having Mrs Lindsay’s dog, Piper come and visit Nursery. We learnt how Mrs Lindsay looks after her and what she likes to eat. We were able to give her some treats too. Piper was very clever and could sit and give her paw. She could even ‘high five’ when she was asked. Piper was very soft to stroke.

We also talked about what we could use for a head, body, wings, legs and a tail and how we could fix them together. We then decided on what colour to paint our dragon. We are very proud of
We had a visit from a dragon called ‘Puff’. We showed Puff how we sit on the carpet and how we do our, ‘wake and shake’. We also gave him some snack. He really liked his apple. We had fun playing with him too. It was so exciting having a dragon visit Nursery for the day!
We have been enjoying our ‘real PE’ lessons. This week we moved around the hall pretending to be different animals including a snake, a bear and a frog. We also pretended we were ‘cheeky monkeys’ by sitting down and balancing, whilst lifting our arms and legs off the floor. It was tricky but we tried our best!
