After lunch we went outside onto the playground to make rockets using empty film canisters. It was really exciting waiting for them to explode! Then we put some mints into bottles of coke and watched them explode into fountains! We made small potions bottles and did some colouring.
We started the day by choosing the house were going to be in. We touched the magical ball to make sure we were put in the right one! Then we went onto the playground and made a fizzing potion. After playtime we went back into the hall to make slime.
Thank you to all the parents for their support in making our Potions Day a success. The children all looked amazing!
Rev Jon Taylor, from St. Bartholomew’s Church, came to lead our Harvest assembly this week. A big thank you to everyone who sent in a donation for our Harvest collection for the Coventry Food Bank.

All the pictures had a hidden letter on and the letters needed to be rearranged into the title of a book linked to our Potions
Before we left Year 3, we spent an afternoon in our new classes where we met our new teachers and had a look at our new classrooms. Then we went outside and buried some rubbish into plants pots. We made some predictions about what we thought would happen. We are going to empty one of the plant pots every half
