Year 5 have recently set Design Technology homework, based on our ‘Tudors’ topic. We have been delighted with the standard of work completed by the children. Here are some photographs of their fantastic efforts!
On Thursday October 10th, Year 5 spent the day at Tudor World in Stratford Upon Avon, to continue our studies into Tudor life. The children learned so much and experienced the life and times of William Shakespeare…with the great man himself!
Year 5 completed a workshop with the NSPCC charity. Children in Year 5 and 6 have completed workshops, conducted by visitors from the NSPCC. Our pupils were told about how to stay healthy and safe, how to let a trusted adult know if they have concerns and how they could use the services of Childline. They have also followed up
Some children in Year 5 enjoyed using the tables in the Learning Hub, to write and edit their answers.
Children in Year 5 recently hopped, skipped and jogged their way to solving some tricky mental addition calculations. They all worked very hard, both physically and mentally!
