We absolutely loved our camp this year! We had so much fun during the day making sure that we had everything organised in our tents, then completed a maths scavenger hunt! We had an incredible time at Conkers, learning all about Egyptians! We built pyramids, went on a hieroglyphic orienteering adventure and created our very own Gods. To top it all off, we watched an amazing 4D film.. What a day!
The School Council really enjoyed coming up with some activities to do and run at the School Fete. Here were some of the things you might have seen before it started..! We ran a Bake Off and a Treasure Hunt.. we hope you joined in!
On Friday, Year 4 really enjoyed our bouncy castle assault course! The weather was amazing for such a lovely time!
On Thursday before half term, we showed our support for Coventry by wearing Coventry City Football Club shirts and kits. Our teachers even hung out a flag! Here we are before the big game…
As part of the money raised through the eco-council and school council’s book sale, every year group adopted an animal. Year 4 adopted… a polar bear! It was very exciting revealing our animal, and he is proudly in our corridor for everyone to look at, as well as lots of information about how our adoption helps.
School Council had the privilege of naming the new school chickens. Keep an eye out for the posters coming soon by the chicken coop and make sure you say hello to our new arrivals!
School Council ran a cake sale to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. Thank you to everyone who donated the cakes! We even had some star bakers in our midst, so well done to everyone who joined in. Reception even had a great time eating theirs all together!
There was a disturbance in Year 4 during Science Week.. poor Daniel had his birthday buttons stolen! Don’t worry – there was a fingerprint left on the scene and eager forensic scientists to the rescue. To help him figure out who the culprit was, Year 4 took their fingerprints and examined them, before comparing them to the one found at
For Comic Relief, the School Council ran a coin-art activity for the children to take part in. Children were asked to bring any spare change they wished to donate to make coin-art of our favourite Little Miss and Mr Men characters, the mascots for this year’s Comic Relief. We also brought along our favourite jokes to be ‘funny for money’.
