Eco Council and School Council reps have been working hard to raise money for each year to adopt an endangered animal. We have been overwhelmed with the book donations, and have been very happy with the outcome! Thank you to everyone who donated books and to everyone who bought them.

Kindness Bingo! This week, around the school, every class is taking part in Kindness Bingo, which is run by our lovely School Council. Every day, children secretly choose at least one act of kindness to do and complete throughout the day. At the end of the day, they tick it off on the class bingo sheet! The whole sheet will
Ten incredible scientists from Year 4 joined other schools to take part in a science workshop! We learnt all about energy and how it is transferred to make things move. We then used lots of materials to create our own toy, powered purely by our energy when we wind it up. How exciting!
One of our school council representatives wanted to promote our respect for school equipment, so he made this wonderful poster! We made sure that every class in KS2 had one in their room, and we will be making one for KS1, too.
During Anti-Bullying week, the School Council ran a competition to raise awareness about being kind. We were very impressed with the entries, which made it very difficult to reach a decision about our winners! These are our favourites, along with the entries. The School Council organised a cake sale for Children in Need this year, and we were overwhelmed with the donations that we received.
