A really enjoyable first couple of weeks in the Years 3&4 after school football club. The captains chose their teams for the week and looked at teamwork. The children have definitely worked on their celebrations over the Summer!

It has been brilliant seeing Year 3 settling really well into the KS2 PE! We have started them with athletics and we are looking forward to seeing their skills improve.
A really pleasing start to the athletics topic for Year 4. They have been focusing on their running, jumping and throwing techniques. We are looking forward to seeing their improvements over the next few weeks.
A big well done to the children who have represented the boys football team this year. The children have grown in confidence and have represented the school really well. In the Cup competition the team won 4-0 then 5-0 but then came up against a very strong Christ The King team and were knocked out of the Harry Shaw Cup.
Summer Term and the return of tennis! After winning a tournament held during their lunchtimes the tennis team went into the Year 5 Level 2 Sainsbury’s School Games tennis tournament with some confidence. A great start to the tournament with all the team winning their matches to win 4-0 against Sacred Heart. Some very close matches against a very good
We were really pleased to be invited to take part in the Sky Blues in the Community Year 4&5 mixed football festival at the Coventry Building Society Arena! The children were really excited to be playing football on the same pitch as their heroes! (I was very jealous!) An amazing experience for our children who showed some of their best
It was the turn for Key Stage 1 to take part in the Coventry East competition. 10 children from Years 1&2 went to the Tribe Centre this week. The children have been working really hard in the morning gymnastics clubs to get ready to perform their floor and vault routine. All the children represented the school brilliantly and showed respect
On Monday evening the Girls team were invited to the On Side football festival at Binley Woods with 5 teams taking part. A tough start to the festival with a match against Willenhall and a pleasing 2-0 win. They then followed that with back to back 1-0 wins against Clifton and Whittle schools. After hearing the amazing news that the Year 3&4 team were Coventry East Champions they went through to the Level 3 Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Final. The team performed the 3-6-3 stack and set their personal best. In this final they also performed in the 3-6-3 relay and the stack and back. All the scores were collected from the 16
The Gymnastics team went to the Tribe Centre to perform their floor and vault routines. After showing their skills in the morning club and in their PE lessons a team was put together. At the competition there were teams from Coventry East and Coventry West competing over the week. I was really impressed by all the children showing their routines
