The children enjoyed listening to the story of ‘The Gingerbread Man’. They then decorated their own gingerbread men with icing and sweeties! Yummy!

As part of our mini project, ‘Sparkle and Shine’ this week, we have been thinking about different celebrations, including Halloween, Diwali and Bonfire Night. Nursery had great fun in PE using the ribbons to make firework patterns. The children also enjoyed creating fantastic firework pictures using paint and glitter.

The children enjoyed making some fantastic clay hedgehogs. We talked about how the clay felt as we squashed and squeezed it. We added some googly eyes and matchsticks made brilliant prickles!
