This week the Nursery children have been learning about all things cold and frosty in our mini project ‘Winter Wonderland’. We learned a new snowman exercise dance called ‘Snowman Freeze’ and used sponges cut into circles, triangles, oblongs and squares to print our own snowmen. This week the children have enjoyed a variety of activities, such as; making ‘Reindeer Food’ to sprinkle on the garden on Christmas Eve. Lots of Christmassy Crafts including making decorations, cutting and sticking. Exploring gingerbread playdough. It smelled so lovely! Playing lots of games such as a Christmas pairs game, a teddy bear counting game and decorating a Christmas tree.
