We had a fantastic time working closely with a partner, to create a bridge for the “Three Billy Goats Gruff” to cross the river using different construction kits.
Reception were so excited! At long last the children were allowed to play on the climbing frame! It was lots of fun!
It has been fascinating watching our old climbing frame being replaced by the new one! We can’t wait to be able to play on it!
Key Stage 1 School Council enjoyed creating posters to encourage everyone to pick up litter!
Kevin Graal, a storyteller, did a special Zoom meeting today. He told us a story about some naughty monkeys who stole hats from the hat maker! It was lots of fun and we had to use our imaginations!
This week in Reception we have been learning about ‘goodies’ and ‘baddies’ in fairy tale stories. We thought about what makes a ‘goody’ and what makes a ‘baddy’. We sorted the characters and painted our favourite characters too!
Mr Taylor bought in Chester, our school dog, to meet RSG today.
This week Reception enjoyed exploring the number 5! We used pictures of hands to help us and played “High Fives” too!
To start off our new topic, Mr Taylor came to Reception’s assembly and read a story called “Up and Down”, by his favourite author Oliver Jeffers.
