We’ve just started our new topic, Towers, Turrets and Tunnels! Year 2 were challenged to use our Kapla building blocks to create a sturdy enough wall to withstand a ball being rolled against it.
In small teams they made their wall then attempted to knock down the other team’s walls. We had to make sure we kept the ball the same and the force we put behind the push to keep it fair.
We had lots of fun trying to find the most structurally efficient way of building it, much like they would have done hundreds of years ago when building castle walls.
