The children were set the challenge of designing their own poster linked to the research they carried out in school about climate change. Needless to say, we were very impressed!

We had a great time on Christmas jumper day. Thank you to all the children who brought in chocolate for our tombola.
6A maths group were back outside for their maths lesson enjoying using the chalks on the playground.

We had fun in Reception dressing up in our Christmas jumpers! Look at how many different ones there are!
We had fun filming our Christmas concert dvd! We tried really hard to learn and sing all the different songs. We hope you enjoy watching it!
We had fun making penguins this week. We drew the head and body, cut them out and stuck them together. We added googly eyes, a beak and some wings. We put our penguins on display in the classroom to create a ‘Winter Wonderland’!
Lots of us enjoyed going outside with Mr Taylor this week for our skills academy. We played football, ran round the field and practised are aim with the archery boards. Some of us even managed to score a 10!
Skills academy was full of physical activities on Friday. Some of us played football, rounders and Sharks and Fishes. It was a great way to end the week, especially our tunnel of appreciation.
Year 6 have had an eye-opening week researching the causes and impact of climate change. We have learnt however, that although human beings might be the problem, we are also the solution. We have encouraged the children to talk to their families about the important topic at home.
