Year 4 enjoyed a much sunnier second attempt at their Easter challenge. They even had a visit from the Easter Bunny who brought with him a basket of goodies. Unfortunately, the bunny had padlocked the eggs shut and so Year 4 had complete one final challenge to crack the code.

We have spent this half term learning about sound and music.Our topic has finished with a little concert, using sounds in songs, thinking about different voice sounds, playing our wonderful home-made instruments in different ways, including forte and piano! We had Reverend Jon Taylor from St Bartholomew’s church come and take some Easter assemblies today. He told us the Easter story and spoke about why Easter is a special celebration for Christians. He also taught us some new songs!
We had lots of musical visitors this week! Mr Fardon played songs we know in different styles on his piano. We thought of words to describe the music.
