2C are using rekenreks as a new way of improving their basic maths skills. They have been learning how to use them to show number bonds to 5 and 10 and they are discovering how they can be used to help them with other skills such as partitioning into tens and ones.

We have had fun staying active this week whilst also practising our Maths skills! We played games adding amounts of money and finding change.
We have had fun learning about Greek myths this week. We also discovered that there were some Greek people from the past who influenced our world as it is today. We wrote fact files about famous Greek people such as Plato and Archimedes and learned how to word process these onto a computer.
We became scientists in Reception this week! We carried out an experiment to see why the Gingerbread Man needed help to cross the river. We experimented with different liquids, such as orange juice, milk and fizzy lemonade!

In Nursery we have been finding out who is the tallest and who is the smallest. We stood next to our height chart to be measured. We discovered that some of us are tall, some us are small and some of us are in-between!
