The children worked really hard to create their reports full of facts about The Polar Regions. We were really impressed with their final pieces. Underneath each hexagon is a variety of facts about the Arctic and Antarctica.

We found out that eggshells are made from the same materials as teeth. We wanted to find out how healthy different drinks were for our teeth. We put eggshells into 9 different liquids and left them for a week. We were a little surprised at some of the results.
Christmas has arrived at EGPS. We have started practising for our Christmas concert which we will record for you to watch. More details will follow shortly.

As part of our new “Maths Mastery” we were looking at dot patterns, seeing how many different ways we could arrange 4 dots!
2S have enjoyed an amazing day dressing up and learning more about Pirates. We had a real pirate visitor come to tales us tales of the scurvy seas and even had us walking the plank! We draw what we could see through our telescope and even tried some piratey food.
2C had an amazing time last week. Captain Rocky Cliff sailed in from the Bristol Channel to talk to the children about his life as a pirate. They walked the plank, imagined what they could see through their telescope and tried some delicious pirate treats!
Well done to Year 5, who came to school on Monday in full support of ‘Odd Socks Day’, part of ‘Anti-bullying week 2021’.
