This half term, our focus in PE is athletics and developing our skills of stance and footwork.
We had great fun playing a pirate game with Mr Burgess. We had to collect all the treasure and demonstrate good teamwork!
This week in Nursery we have been thinking about who is in our family. We drew a picture of our family for our first page in our learning journal. We hope you like our work!
We took an exciting walk around school and met Mr Taylor and some of the other people who help us in school. We had great fun playing on the tyres in Key Stage 2 and also on the Key Stage 1 playground.
The children in KS1 have been enjoying their PE lessons learning a multitude of skills and improving their fitness. The children in KS2 have been taking part in their fitness tests and have been too quick to snap. We are proud of their determination and resilience.
Year 6 have had a busy second week. We’ve had computing with Mr Riley in the Learning Hub, maths lessons focusing on place value and writing poems about The Blitz. Some children have also experienced glorious sunshine and torrential rainstorms during their forest school sessions.
The sun was out so we enjoyed many clubs outside. American football, netball, tennis, archery, running. We are pleased to be back!
We are having so much fun in Reception! We are making lots of new friends and learning lots of new things!
