During the summer term our project in Year 5 will be Sow and grow. This provides an excellent opportunity to use our Forest School environment to sow and grow our own plants. The children really enjoy working in our outdoor classroom and getting dirty!
Year 5 have taken part in a programme designed to make them safer cyclists. The children enjoyed bringing their bikes into school and hopefully learnt how to cycle safely.
Over the last 4 weeks we have watched our own pet caterpillars grow and change into beautiful butterflies!
Making paper ladybirds is a great way to practise doubling and also our cutting and sticking skills!
4K visited Morrisons today for a Foodmaker and Shopkeeper Tour. Kayleigh gave us a guided tour of the store, the children got into teams to see who could scan the shopping the quickest and then we went upstairs to make fruit salads. The children said it was the most fun they’d ever had in a shop!! 4SE will be going
4SE enjoyed an active maths lesson which involved rounding decimals and working as a team.
4SE enjoyed putting their French vocabulary in action by playing a memory game. The children had items on their tables and took it in turns to remove one (or more) items. They then (in French) had to say the number of items missing and name each item using the correct French word.
