As part of our mini project, ‘Sparkle and Shine’ this week, we have been thinking about different celebrations, including Halloween, Diwali and Bonfire Night. Nursery had great fun in PE using the ribbons to make firework patterns. The children also enjoyed creating fantastic firework pictures using paint and glitter.

This week, Year 4 had the fantastic opportunity to ride scooters and learn about keeping safe while riding. Even though it rained, we had a brilliant time!
Despite the rain on Tuesday, 6W and 6M had great fun taking part in the Scoot Fit session. The children learnt about scooter safety and how to balance correctly. They participated in various activities including a scooter disco! The children said that they really enjoyed singing; riding with their friends, and learning new tricks.
The children have had lots of fun working on their self-defence and learning to use the correct formations when punching and kicking boxing pads.
Year 5 have been studying traditional features of landscapes and have created their own imaginative paintings.
The children have enjoyed exploring Wizardy Woo’s Kitchen, dressing up and creating exciting potions and recipes! The children have also been practising their sticking skills and naming 2D shapes when designing pumpkin face collages!
