Summer Term and the return of tennis! After winning a tournament held during their lunchtimes the tennis team went into the Year 5 Level 2 Sainsbury’s School Games tennis tournament with some confidence. A great start to the tournament with all the team winning their matches to win 4-0 against Sacred Heart. Some very close matches against a very good

Year 4 found out all about the Egyptian mummification process and had fun pretending to mummify their friends.
As part of the money raised through the eco-council and school council’s book sale, every year group adopted an animal. Year 4 adopted… a polar bear! It was very exciting revealing our animal, and he is proudly in our corridor for everyone to look at, as well as lots of information about how our adoption helps.
We were really pleased to be invited to take part in the Sky Blues in the Community Year 4&5 mixed football festival at the Coventry Building Society Arena! The children were really excited to be playing football on the same pitch as their heroes! (I was very jealous!) An amazing experience for our children who showed some of their best
Well done to everyone who took part in the Humanities fair, we were amazed by how many wonderful projects were created. Choosing a winner from each class was very difficult and we could see how much effort was made. We were particularly impressed by the use of time-lines, mapping, comparison and the varied way in which research was carried out
