Here’s some pictures of natural art found on our school grounds. The children were looking for relief forms and natural pieces of art found in and around our field, allotment and pond area.

As some children in Year 5 begin their Forest School sessions, they start to discover allotments (linked to their geography topic of Sow, Grow and Farm). We looked at our own allotment area and talked about the different animals you might find in these areas. Then, using their knowledge of food webs, they created a typical food web for an

Children worked in teams to create a den. They used pegs and mallets and made sure that their den was big enough for all of them to fit!

Year 1 forest school enjoyed leaf printing. We talked about how it works and they made some fantastic flags with their printed material.

Today the KS1 Forest school skills academy group made crowns. They found leaves, cones, grass and other natural items to decorate them.
