Week Beginning 16/10

This week the children thought about what they would wear in hot and cold places, we read Mr Gumpy’s Outing by John Burningham and retold the story using masks and discussed new vocabulary such as: squabble, bleat and trample. We also shared the story Harold and the Purple Crayon and anticipated what would happen next. The children followed simple instructions

Harvest Festival

We enjoyed our Harvest Festival which was led by the Reverend Jon Taylor from St Bartholomew’s church. He spoke about the importance of being thankful for what we have and how it is kind to share. He also described how his church would be celebrating Harvest this year. As a school we collected enough food to fill over 18 crates
