We finished off our World War II topic with a wonderful trip to Holdenby House. The children entered the spirit of the day by dressing up as evacuees. They took part in different activities through the day: cooking, make do and mend, evacuation and a reviewing a soldier’s rations and equipment. It was a great day and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
