Year 3 had a great time visiting the Lunt Roman Fort as part of our Empires and Emperors topic. We learnt lots of interesting facts about the life of a Roman and had great fun pretending to be Roman soldiers for the day, which included lots of marching, exciting battle drills with our swords and shields and even defending ourselves from a teachers javelin attack!
