The children have been learning about the work of significant still life artists and still life techniques. They chose a piece of fruit and looked carefully at it from all angles, felt the texture and looked for any markings or patterns. They used clay to form the piece of fruit and added texture once they were happy with the shape. Once dry, they then painted them.
