This week In Nursery we carried out an experiment. Three bears were stuck in some ice and we had to try and find a way to get them out. For the first bear, we decided to hit the ice with a toy pick axe. We wore a white coat, just like scientists do, and special safety goggles! The toy pick axe wasn’t strong enough so we decided to use a wooden block instead, which worked really well. The next teddy bear we put in some warm water and the ice eventually melted. The final teddy bear we put in the sun. It took a whole day for the ice to melt!
