The Year 5/6 Girls Football season started with a tournament at Binley Woods Primary School. We were invited by Onside Coaching to the 10 team tournament.
We were put into 2 groups of 5. We started with 2 tough games against Dunchurch and Paddox Primary School, the girls worked really hard to win both games 1-0. A very impressive start to the tournament which then carried on. We played Binley Woods next game winning 3-0. In the last game of the group we played St Barts beating them 6-0.
After winning the group we went straight into the final against Clifford Bridge Academy who won their group. A very close game and I am really pleased to say that we won 1-0.
A fantastic start to the school year and I am looking forward to their next games.
